This Monday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the South Dakota Coyotes and the Washington Huskies. This will be the first meeting between these teams this season and it will take place at Alaska Airlines Arena.

South Dakota Looks For A Rare Road Win

The South Dakota Coyotes have looked good up to this point in the season. The Coyotes have won six of their first eight games after winning their last game against Northern Arizona on the road by four points. In that game, South Dakota's defense was underwhelming as it allowed 76 points while allowing the opposition to shoot 44.4% from the three-point line. However, the loss was not that surprising when one factors in South Dakota's inability to play well consistently on the road. South Dakota has only won two of its first four road games of the season and it will look for another road victory on Monday.

Leading the Coyotes offensively is senior forward Tyler Hagedornwho has looked great this season. He is averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game along with 6.9 rebounds. In addition, he has also been extremely efficient and smart with his shot selection as he is shooting 63.4% from the floor.

South Dakota's most underrated player is senior guard Cody Kelley who has looked good this season. He is currently averaging 10.1 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 52.0% from the floor and 47.1% from the three-point line so he will definitely look to maintain that level of efficiency in the future.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Washington has been extremely solid this season and it is still undefeated at home so I will take the Huskies to cover this point spread. Washington is currently ranked and deservedly so which is why I think that there is a serious mismatch in this game. South Dakota should have issues breaking down Washington's signature zone defense while Washington should be able to get some open looks against South Dakota's average defense. Give me the favorite.

Prediction: Washington

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Washington has an elite level defense so I have to take the under. South Dakota has not had to deal with an elite zone defense up to this point so I expect the Coyotes to freeze offensively which will result in less points. At the same time, Washington's offense is good but not elite so it should not be able to score more than 75 points in this game. As a result, this total is too low so I will take the under.

Prediction: Under

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Washington is one of the best defensive teams in the country and I think that South Dakota will struggle a lot offensively in the first 20 minutes before it can make some adjustments at halftime. Washington will use its elite home crowd to provide a spark offensively as the Huskies should be leading by double digits at the brea. Give me the home team.

Prediction: Washington 1H
