This Saturday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the New Mexico Lobos and the Wyoming Cowboys. This meeting will take place at the Arena-Auditorium and it will occur at roughly 4:00 P.M.

New Mexico Looks To Extend Winning Streak

The New Mexico Lobos have looked like an above average team up to this point in the season. The Lobos have won eight of their first ten games including a two-point victory against Boise State in their last game. In that game, New Mexico's offense was solid as it scored 80 points while shooting 50.9% from the floor. Now, New Mexico enters this game on a three-game winning streak as it will look to extend that streak with a conference road victory on Saturday. If the Lobos plan on winning this game, its offense will need to continue playing well.

Leading the Lobos offensively is senior guard JaQuan Lyle who looked solid this season. He is currently averaging a team-high 18.2 points per game along with 5.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists. In addition, he is also shooting 40.8% from the three-point line so he will look to continue his hot shooting from the perimeter in this road game.

New Mexico's most underrated player is senior forward Carlton Bragg Jr. who has been good so far this season. He is currently averaging 12.4 points per game along with a team-high 9.5 rebounds. In addition, he has also been great defensively as he is averaging 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.

Wyoming Looks For First Conference Win

The Wyoming Cowboys have looked like an awful basketball team so far this season. The Cowboys have lost six of their first nine games of the season including a nine-point loss against Air Force at home in their last game. In that game, Wyoming's defense was awful as it allowed 86 points while allowing its opposition to shoot 53.3% from the floor. Now, Wyoming will look to get back to its winning ways at home on Saturday. However, the Cowboys have looked like they are destined to finish the regular season in the Mountain West basement so this conference game could do a lot to potentially change that narrative.

Leading the Cowboys offensively is sophomore guard Hunter Maldonado who has been solid this season. He is currently averaging a team-high 16.0 points per game along with 5.9 assists. However, he is shooting just 23.5% from the three-point line so he has struggling finding his outside shot up to this point.

Wyoming's most underrated player is senior guard A.J. Bankswhohas been pretty good this season. He is currently averaging 5.8 points along with 2.2 rebounds per game. In addition, he has also been extremely efficient as he is shooting 60.0% from the floor and 62.5% from the three-point line.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Even though this game is in Wyoming, New Mexico is the much better team in this matchup so I will take the Lobos to cover the spread. New Mexico has won eight of its first ten games while Wyoming has lost six of its first nine games so these two teams are headed in opposite directions. Plus, New Mexico is the much better rebounding team in this game so it should be able to create a ton of second chance points which will help the Lobos cover this spread. Give me the road team.

Prediction: New Mexico -8

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Wyoming has one of the worst offenses in the entire country so I have to take the under in this game. Wyoming is averaging just 56.9 points per game this season and I expect the Cowboys to struggle reaching 60 points in this game. Plus, New Mexico is averaging just 70.5 points per game on the road this season so its offense has looked significantly worse away from home. As a result, this game should end in the high-120s so I will take the under.

Prediction: Under 132

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

New Mexico enters this game on a three-game winning streak and I expect it to continue playing well in the first 20 minutes of this game. Wyoming should struggle scoring once again while New Mexico will be able to use its superior depth in the frontcourt to get some easy baskets around the rim. This half should be close but I think that New Mexico will be able to go on some scoring runs while Wyoming does not have the talent offensively to respond. Give me the road team as a result.

Prediction: New Mexico 1H
