This Friday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons and the North Dakota State Bison. This game will take place at the Scheels Center at approximately 8:00 P.M EST.
Mastodons Look For Rare Road Win
The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons have looked like a slightly below average college basketball team so far this season. The Mastodons have lost 14 of their first 26 games but they enter this game on a high note after beating Denver on the road by seven points in their last game. In that game, Purdue Fort Wayne's defense was great as it allowed just 63 points while forcing the opposition to commit 17 turnovers. That win was a bit surprising considering the fact that the Mastodons have a 3-10 record on the road this season. Now, Purdue Fort Wayne will be looking for another rare road victory in this conference game on Friday.
Leading the Mastodons offensively is sophomore guard Jarred Godfrey who has looked pretty good this season as he is averaging a team-high 15.8 points along with 4.5 rebounds per game. In addition, he is averaging 1.1 steals per game so he has been very active on both sides of the ball.
Purdue Fort Wayne's most underrated player is junior guard Brian Patrick who has been solid this season as he is averaging 12.2 points per game along with 3.8 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 45.5% from the floor so he has been pretty efficient offensively up to this point.
Bison Look To Extend Winning Streak

The Bison have won 18 of their first 25 games and they enter this game on a high note after beating Oral Roberts at home by seven points at home in their last game. In that game, North Dakota State's offense was great as it scored 83 points while shooting 52.9% from the floor. In addition, the Bison have been playing some great basketball lately as they have won each of their last five games. Now, North Dakota State will be looking to extend its current winning streak with another home game on Friday.
