This Tuesday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Colorado State Rams and the UNLV Rebels. This game will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center at approximately 10:30 P.M EST.

UNLV Looks To Get Back To .500

The UNLV Rebels have looked like a slightly below average college basketball team up to this point in the season. The Rebels have lost 14 of their first 27 games but they enter this game on a high note as they were able to beat New Mexico on the road in its last game by five points. In that game, UNLV's offense was amazing at it scored 78 points while shooting 50.0% from the floor. Now, UNLV will be looking for another home victory on Tuesday. In addition, this game is particularly important for the Rebels considering the fact that they will get back to a .500 record if they are able to get this victory in front of their home fans.

Leading the Rebels offensively is sophomore guard Bryce Hamilton who has looked good this season as he is averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game along with 5.2 rebounds. However, he is also shooting just 28.0% from the three-point line so he has struggled with his shot from behind the arc.

UNLV's most underrated player is junior centerCheikh Mbacke Diong who has looked pretty good this season as he is averaging 7.9 points per game along with a team-high 8.2 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 52.6% from the floor so he has been pretty efficiently offensively up to this point.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Insiders Status:

Even though UNLV has been playing some better basketball over the past few weeks, Colorado State has been the much better basketball team this season so I think it should be able to take care of business in this road game. Colorado State has won 18 of its first 27 games while UNLV still has a losing record up to this point so I expect to see the Rebels struggle once again in this conference game on Tuesday. Plus, Colorado State is averaging roughly five more points per game so I think that it should be able to score enough points in order to cover this spread. Give me the road team.

Prediction: Colorado State +1

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Both of these teams have been pretty good offensively and a bit underwhelming defensively so I think that this total is a bit too low. Colorado State is averaging 76.4 points per game and allowing 71.7 points per game while UNLV is averaging 71.6 points per game and allowing 71.1 points per game so I think that this game should be pretty high-scoring. Plus, Colorado State loves to play at a relatively fast pace as it ranks 111th in the nation in adjusted offensive tempo according to Kenpom Rankings so I think that this game should be played primarily in transition which will result in more possessions for both teams. Give me the over.

Prediction: Over 147

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Colorado State has looked sharp in conference play as it has a 9-5 record in Mountain West play so I think that it should be able to get out to a fast start in the first half of this game. Colorado State has also won four of its last five games and it has already beaten UNLV earlier this season by 18 points so I think that there is a serious talent disparity present within this matchup. Plus, Colorado State is shooting roughly five percent better from the floor so it should be able to make enough shots in order to cover this first half spread. Give me the road team.

Prediction: Colorado State 1H
