With four games to go, Kent State still has plenty to play for as they only trail Toledo by  1.5 games for first place in the MAC and Akron by half a game for second place. The Golden Flashes have played well, winners of seven of their last eight games, with each of those wins coming by at least four points and their last three wins coming by at least seven points. Out of Ball State's last six losses, each one has come by at least nine points, with the average margin of those losses being by more than 15 points.
