The USF Bulls will host the Temple Owls in the back end of a home-and-home series in AAC action on Wednesday evening. The Owls continue to struggle and are second-last in the conference as a result.
USF was able to collect an 83-76 road win against this Temple squad in Sunday’s meeting but haven't been able to win games with consistency.
Temple Hit with 10th Conference Loss
The Temple Owls continue to stumble. They have now lost six consecutive games to plummet to 3-10 in conference play on the season. The Owls scoring has been their biggest problem in the majority of their defeats. They have been involved in several close games in conference play which continued in Sunday’s loss to this USF team. Temple has covered the points in six of their 13 conference bouts this season.
Khalif Battle came through with a big 32 point performance in Sunday’s loss. The sophomore guard has now surpassed the 20 point mark in two straight games and has improved his season average to 13.9 PPG. Damian Dunn did not play in Sunday’s loss. The freshman guard has missed the last two games with a knee injury and is listed as questionable for this game. Dunn is averaging a solid 13.8 PPG. Jake Forrester has scored a combined 20 points in his last two clashes. The junior forward has filed an average of 9.7 PPG and 6.1 RPG.
