This Wednesday, there is an NCAAB matchup between the Furman Paladins and the UNC Greensboro Spartans. This meeting will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum and it will occur at approximately 7:00 PM.

Furman Looks For A Rare Road Win

The Furman Paladins have looked like a consistently solid college basketball team so far this season. The Paladins have won 23 of their first 29 games this season and they enter this game on a high note after beating Wofford at home by one point in their last game. In that game, Furman's defense was solid as it only allowed 66 points while forcing the opposition to shoot just 28.1% from the three-point line. Now, Furman will be looking for another conference victory on Wednesday. However, the Paladins are 4-8 on the road this season so they have struggled in hostile environments up to this point.

Leading the Paladins offensively is senior guardJordan Lyons who has looked good this season as he is averaging a team-high 16.8 points per game along with 2.8 rebounds. In addition, he is averaging 1.2 steals per game so he has been very active on both sides of the ball.

Furman's most underrated player is sophomore forward Noah Gurley who has looked very good this season as he is averaging 14.2 points per game along with 4.8 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 53.0% from the floor so he has been pretty efficient offensively up to this point.

UNC Greensboro Looks To Extend Winning Streak

The UNC Greensboro Spartans have looked like a solid college basketball team so far this season. The Spartans have won 23 of their first 29 games and they enter this game on a high note after beating VMI on the road by three points in their last game. In that game, UNC Greensboro's defense was solid as it only allowed 68 points while forcing the opposition to shoot just 38.1% from the floor. In addition, the Spartans have won each of their last six game so they have been playing some great basketball lately. Now, UNC Greensboro will be looking to extend this winning streak at home on Wednesday.

Leading the Spartans offensively is junior guard Isaiah Miller who has been solid so far this season as he is averaging a team-high 18.2 points per game along with 5.0 rebounds. However, he is also averaging a team-high 2.8 turnovers per game so he will need to make less mistakes in the future.

UNC Greensboro's most underrated player is senior forward James Dickey who has been solid so far this season as he is averaging 8.4 points per game along with a team-high 9.4 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 56.9% from the floor so he has been very efficient offensively up to this point.

Best Bets for this Game

Full-Game Side Bet

Rating:

Even though these two teams have the exact same record, UNC Greensboro has looked fantastic at home this season so I have to side with the Spartans in this home game. UNC Greensboro has won 14 of its first 17 home games while Furman has a 4-8 record on the road so I think that the Paladins should continue struggling on the road in this game. Plus, Furman is allowing roughly five more points per game so I am a bit skeptical that it will be unable to get enough stops in order to cover this spread. As a result, I think that there is some value with the home team.

Prediction: UNC Greensboro -4.5

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

Both of these teams have been very underrated offensively so I think that this total is just a bit too low. Furman is averaging 76.8 points per game while UNC Greensboro is averaging 74.7 points per game so I think that this game has the potential to turn into a track meet. Plus, Furman loves to play at a relatively fast pace as it ranks 192nd in the nation in adjusted offensive tempo according to Kenpom Rankings so I think that this game should feature a decent amount of opportunities in transition which bodes well for the over in this game.

Prediction: Over 147.5

Half-Time Side Pick

Insiders Status:

Rating:

UNC Greensboro has won each of its last six games so I think that it should be able to get out to a fast start within the first 20 minutes of this game in front of its home crowd on Wednesday. Furman has looked like a disaster on the road this season and UNC Greensboro already won the first meeting this season so I think that this spread is a bit too low. Plus, UNC Greensboro is averaging roughly five more rebounds per game so it should be able to generate enough second-chance points in order to cover this first half spread. Give me the home team.

Prediction: UNC Greensboro 1H
