The first meeting between these teams this season was a two-point win on the road for Charleston last month. That marked one of just two losses for UNC Wilmington at home this season, with the other a two-point loss to William & Mary three days later. The problem for Takayo Siddle and the Seahawks is that this game is on the road and the Cougars are 13-1 in their own barn this season. Charleston’s hit list at home is an impressive one when you look at it as they’ve taken down Richmond, Davidson, Kent State and Virginia Tech along the way. The Cougars are 4-1 in CAA play at home, winning their games by at least 11 points with the lone defeat a four-point setback to Hofstra. UNC Wilmington battles but they don’t have the weapons to keep up with the Cougars here. Take Charleston at home as they earn the season sweep.
