Explorers Look to Keep on Winning
La Salle is both under .500 overall and under .500 in the Atlantic Ten thus far but has put together a two-game winning streak in the past week. On Sunday, the Explorers upended Saint Joseph's 73-65 to split the season series with their Philadelphia rivals. Josh Nickelberry led La Salle with a game-high 16 points coming off the bench. With the win, the Explorers split the season series with St. Joe's and also finished 2-2 in Philadelphia Big 5 games.

La Salle has had below-average offensive output so far this season. The Explorers are ranked 227th in scoring in the nation thus far. In addition, they are just 319th in field goal percentage overall and 210th in 3pt field goal percentage. In addition, La Salle is 213th in the country in the fewest turnovers per game. Defensively, the Explorers are 239th in scoring offense while ranking just 292nd in the country against the 3pt-ball. La Salle is 138th in the country in total rebounding.
Bonnies Beaming
St. Bonaventure has hit a good stretch in recent games, reeling off three straight wins to push past .500 at 13-11 on the season. The three-game streak has also propelled the Bonnies to 7-4 in A-10 play, good for third place in the conference. On Saturday, the Bonnies took down Dayton by the score of 68-59 to pick up another critical win. The Bonnies have now defeated VCU and Richmond on the road and Dayton at home in arguably the three most impressive wins on the season. Chad Venning led four Bonnies in double-figures with 17 points in the win.
"We had a team meeting right before the VCU game and we talked about everything we felt we needed to do," Moses Flowers, who had 12 points in the win, said after the game. "Ever since that meeting, we've been locked in. We're all here together, we're together on and off the court. We've had each other's backs on offense and defense and stayed connected."

The Bonnies keep climbing the standings and suddenly look like true contenders in the A-10 following three wins over three of the best teams in the conference. Like La Salle, St. Bonaventure hasn't been a strong offensive team this season. The Bonnies are 268th in the nation in points per game. They are 266th in field goal percentage but have been solid from 3pt range, ranking 103rd in 3pt field goal percentage. The Bonnies are ranked 120th in the fewest turnovers per game. They have been strong defensively, ranked 66th in the country in scoring defense. They are #1 in the conference and sixth in the nation in 3pt defense. On the glass, the Bonnies are ranked 229th in total rebounding.

Insiders Status:
The Bonnies are playing their best basketball of the season and look like a prime contender in the A-10 after two enormous road wins over VCU and Richmond. While both the Bonnies and the Explorers struggle to put up points, the Bonnies are a far superior defensive team that should control the game with their half-court defense. In addition, St. Bonaventure has the ability to knock down open threes, ranking a solid 103rd in the country. The Bonnies are much more efficient with the basketball than La Salle and won't waste possessions.
Take the Bonnies.

Full-Game Total Pick
Insiders Status:
In this three-game win streak, the Bonnies were able to hold the opposition under 60 points in two out of the three games. The Bonnies will control the pace of play with their defense and ability to protect the basketball. The Bonnies play at a very slow pace, ranking 289th in the nation. Expect La Salle to struggle to put up points against the nation's 66th-ranked scoring defense and the game to stay under the total.
Take the under.
