Cleveland State Looks For A Rare Road Win
The Cleveland State Vikings have looked like a below average basketball team up to this point in the season as they have lost 12 of their first 19 games including a 13-point road loss to Wright State in their last game. In that game, Cleveland State's offense struggled as it only scored 62 points while shooting just 38.3% from the floor. However, that performance was not surprising considering the fact that Cleveland State has been terrible on the road this season. Cleveland State enters this game having lost eight of its first ten road games so it will be looking for a rare road victory in this game on Saturday.
Leading the Vikings offensively is junior forward Algevon Eichelberger
who has been good this season as he is averaging a team-high 13.6 points per game along with a team-high 6.6 rebounds. However, he is also averaging 2.9 turnovers and 2.6 fouls per game so he will need to make fewer mistakes moving forward.
Cleveland State's most underrated player is junior guard Torrey Patton
who has been solid so far this season as he is averaging 11.0 points per game along with 4.7 rebounds. In addition, he is shooting 58.6% from the floor so he has been very efficient offensively up to this point.
