Insiders Status:

Rating:

The strength of the UAB offense, its running game, will exploit the weakness of the Louisiana Tech defense early and often. UAB is averaging 228.4 yards per game on the ground which is 10th best in the nation and will face a Louisiana Tech defense against the run that is allowing an average of 228.4 yards per game which is 129th. Once Louisiana Tech stacks 7 or more players on the line of scrimmage to stop the running game for the Blazers, UAB quarterback Dylan Hopkins will go over the top and burn the Bulldogs secondary. Louisiana Tech’s strength is its passing game, but faces a UAB defense that is allowing an average of only 192.3 yards per game through the air, which is 25th best in the country.

Prediction: UAB Blazers -17.5
