Best Bets for this Game
Full-Game Side Bet
Both teams are winless this season but have also faced difficult opponents on the road in each of those games. Up to this point, Charleston Southern has been more competitive in each of their losses, which were against the two best teams in the conference. Playing their first home game of the season, expect the Buccaneers to take advantage of the less talented Colonials and cover the spread.
Full-Game Total Pick
Neither team has had an offense breakout yet this season, but they have also faced strong defenses. With two games now under their belts, I expect both offenses to begin clicking on Saturday. The rushing games have been weak on both sides, so expect to see plenty of passing attempts in this game. With the total set so low, I am taking the over.
