The Kansas Jayhawks (3-0) will host the Duke Blue Devils (3-0) Saturday on FS1 in a matchup between two national basketball powerhouses...but this isn't a basketball game as both of these football programs come into this contests undefeated.

Kansas opened up as a 10-point favorite, but was down to a 7.5-point favorite early Thursday. The total opened at 64.5 and has made a slight jump to 65.5

I am coming off a 3-0 sweep on Friday which included two underdogs (Tigers +160 and Guardians +110) winning outright! My College Football Best Bets are also 5-1, and in the last 90 days, $100 a game players are up over $2,900 on my top plays! If you want to make a big score in MLB, College Football and the NFL this weekend, grab a package here.

Great start for Duke

The undefeated Blue Devils are 2-1 against the spread, and the over/under is 1-2 in their games. They opened up with a 30-0 win over Temple as a 9.5-point favorite, beat Northwestern 31-23 as a 10-point road dog, and last week took down a local FCS foe in North Carolina A&T 49-20 as a 30-point favorite. With one more win, Duke will have surpassed their preseason Vegas over/under win total of 3.0.

Duke ranks 39th in the country rushing for 205 yards per game, and 56th with 255.3 passing yards per contest. Quarterback Riley Leonard has completed 72.7% of his passes with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Leonard is also third on the team with 147 rushing yards and tied for second with two rushing touchdowns. On defense, the Blue Devils are 51st holding the opposition to 119.3 rushing yards per game and 78th giving up 228.7 passing yards per game.

Cash those over 2.5 tickets

Kansas came into the season with an over/under Vegas win total set at 2.5, and they have already surpassed that.  The Jayhawks opened up with a 56-10 win as a 30.5-point favorite against Tennessee Tech, but it was their two games following that drew national attention. The Jayhawks beat West Virginia 55-42 in overtime (pick-6 in overtime to increase the lead to 13) as a 14-point road dog, and then went to Houston and beat the Cougars 48-30 as a 9.5-point road dog.

The Jayhawks are also 3-0 against the spread with all three games going over the total. The offense is led by a rushing attack that is seventh in the nation averaging 259.3 yards per game, and the passing attack is 102nd with 194 yards per game. Quarterback Jalon Daniels has completed 67.1% of his passes with seven touchdowns and one interception, while also rushing for 237 yards on 27 carries.

The Kansas defense is 67th allowing 137.7 yards on the ground, and 85th allowing 241.3 passing yards.

Insiders Status:

I am impressed with what I have seen from Kansas so far, but not enough to feel great about laying more than a touchdown on them. The Jayhawks are a big favorite after beating West Virginia and Houston straight up, but now find themselves in the unusual position of being favored against a Power 5 foe. Duke will get up for this game on the road, and Kansas may be feeling a little overconfident after beating Houston by 18 last week. The Blue Devils are a balanced team offensively and really haven't shown anything yet that leads me to believe that they can't win this game.  Either way it should be competitive. Kansas may win, but I like Duke to cover.

Prediction: Duke Blue Devils +7.5

Full-Game Total Pick

Insiders Status:

Duke hasn't been held below 30 points yet, and even if you exclude overtime, Kansas has not been held below 42 points yet. The quarterbacks on both of these teams have been efficient and move the chains with both their feet and arms. Kansas QB Jalon Daniels is rated 1st in QBR, and Duke QB Riley Leonard is solid at 18th. The Blue Devils have led at the half in each game this season, but they may change here. Expect Duke to be even more aggressive in the second half than in their previous contests and drive this game over the total.

Prediction: Over 65.5
