In a crucial Mountain West matchup, Fresno State will pay a visit to San Diego State on Friday night in the battle for the "Old Oil Can." Fresno State (2-3 West division) still needs two wins to qualify for a bowl game while a victory by division-leading San Diego State (4-2) would assure the Aztecs at least a share of the division title. Last year, Fresno St. outscored SDSU 14-0 in the second half to earn a 23-14 victory. The Aztecs lead the all-time series 29-25-4, which includes holding a 15-13-2 advantage at home.
