Wildcats Trying To Bounce Back From Loss To Tennessee
The Wildcats suffered a close loss to the Tennessee Volunteers in their last game and will be trying to bounce back from the loss with a win over the Commodores, which will give them their second win in their last three games and fourth win in a row over the Commodores.
Kentucky has been inconsistent offensively and is averaging 22.9 points per game. In most cases, that won’t be enough to get the win, but it should be more than enough against Vanderbilt’s struggling defense.
The Wildcats have done a great job running the ball, averaging 212.6 rushing yards per game, which is 26th
in the country.
Wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr.
has done a little bit of everything for the Wildcats this season. He has thrown for 213 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, he leads the team with 712 rushing yards and four touchdowns and is also their top receiver with 348 yards and one touchdown.
With the Commodores giving up 196.7 rushing yards per game, expect Bowden Jr. to be very active in this game.
The Wildcats have played well on the defensive end, holding opponents to 20.8 points per game. They gave up 17 points to Tennessee in their last game and will need another solid defensive effort to improve their odds of winning this game.
