Ravens Going For Sixth Win In Seven Games

Jaguars Going For Second Win In Three Games

Rating:

The Ravens have won five of their last six games and three of their last four road games. They have played well offensively, scoring at least 27 points in two of their last three games. Despite the injuries at the running back position, they have the second-best ground game in the league and they’re facing a defense that gave up over 150 yards on the ground in their last game, so expect them to pound the ball on the ground and open up the passing game for Jackson, who will be able to exploit their 24th-ranked pass defense. The Jaguars have lost six of their last seven games and three of their last four home games. They haven’t been very good offensively, but they run the ball well. The addition of former Rams running back Darrell Henderson gives them more depth, but they won’t be able to do much on the ground against the Ravens, who have the third-best run defense in the league and held their last three opponents under 50 rushing yards per game. The addition of LB Roquan Smith turned a pretty good defense into a very good one. This will allow the Ravens to pressure Lawrence and force him to make mistakes. With the Ravens holding opponents under 20 points per game, the Jaguars will have a hard time keeping up with them, so go with Baltimore to cover the spread.

Prediction: Baltimore Ravens -3.5
