Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati
Written by Scott Reichel
Week seven of NFL football continues as the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Paul Brown Stadium to take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1:00 P.M. These two teams have not met since 2017 when the Jaguars beat the Bengals at home by a score of 23-7. This will be the 22nd meeting between these two teams.
Jacksonville enters this game with a 2-4 record as it lost to New Orleans at home last week. After getting to a .500 record, the Jaguars have lost each of their last two games and will look to potentially salvage their season with a victory on Sunday. However, despite the poor record, Jacksonville is only two games back of first place in the AFC South so a win here would keep its hopes alive for a division title.
Zac Taylor has the Bengals in terrible form headed into this game. Specifically, the Bengals are winless through six games and are tied for the worst record in the league with the Dolphins. However, Cincinnati put together a competitive effort against Baltimore last week before losing by six points so perhaps that performance could build some momentum moving forward. Plus, this game is at home so maybe the Bengals will be able to get their first win of the season on Sunday.
