It’s an interconference contest on the ice down in the Sunshine State. The Winnipeg Jets are on the road as they travel to face the Florida Panthers Thursday night. Winnipeg comes in off a 4-0 shutout loss on the road to Colorado in their previous contest Tuesday night. Florida rallied to earn a 5-4 shootout win on the road over the Bruins Tuesday night in an Atlantic Division matchup. The teams split the last 10 meetings with the Panthers skating to a 4-2 win in the most recent matchup on the road on November 2, 2018.

Winnipeg Jets Looking to Regain Momentum
Winnipeg had won two straight and four of five before running into a brick wall known as the Avalanche. The Jets entered Wednesday tied for third in the Central Division with Nashville for the final guaranteed playoff spot: they were seven back of the Blues for the division lead. Winnipeg is 26th
