Winners & Whiners made Kentucky +10.5 the primary play in Saturday's SEC matchup, and the current market still sits inside the recommended range.
The original handicap specifically identified Kentucky +10 or better as playable. That matters because the Wildcats are still getting more than a touchdown and a field goal at home rather than forcing bettors to chase a number that has already disappeared.
Alabama looked dominant in a 48-10 season-opening win, but this is a more demanding spot for quarterback Keelon Russell in his first SEC road game.
Kentucky also received encouraging availability news. Several Wildcats who missed the opener are expected back, while Alabama starting offensive lineman Michael Carroll has been ruled out and receiver Noah Rogers is also unavailable.
The weather in Lexington could include some light rain, but current forecasts do not suggest conditions severe enough to fundamentally change the handicap.
The betting case remains about the number. Kentucky does not need to win outright. The Wildcats need to keep the game within double digits against an Alabama offense facing a more difficult environment and some personnel questions up front.

College Football Best Bet: Tennessee vs Georgia Tech Under 55.5
Current total: 55.5
The strongest W&W angle in Tennessee–Georgia Tech is the Under 55.5.
Tennessee entered the week as roughly an 8.5-point favorite before the spread moved through double digits. At the same time, the total moved slightly lower.
That market combination fits a game script where Tennessee controls the matchup but Georgia Tech struggles to contribute enough scoring to force a shootout.
The Yellow Jackets managed only 13 points in their opener against Colorado. Tennessee, meanwhile, has enough defensive talent to force Georgia Tech into longer drives rather than repeatedly conceding explosive scores.
There is also some weather uncertainty in Atlanta. The current forecast calls for temperatures around 81 degrees with a chance of isolated thunderstorms and rain around kickoff. That alone is not enough to bet an Under, but it does nothing to undermine an already lower-scoring handicap.
W&W considers Under 55.5 playable, with the value becoming materially thinner only if the number drops below roughly 52.5.

College Football Best Bet: Utah -12.5 vs Arkansas

Utah remains one of the cleaner favorite positions on the late-night board.
Winners & Whiners made Utah -12.5 the primary wager against Arkansas after the Utes opened the season with an explosive offensive performance.
Utah piled up 633 yards in its opener, including 364 on the ground, and displayed the kind of depth that becomes especially valuable at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The home-field environment matters here as well. Arkansas faces a late kickoff at altitude against a Utah roster capable of leaning on the run game and wearing down an opponent over four quarters.
The injury picture does not create a reason to abandon the position. Utah currently has no major injuries listed for the matchup, while Arkansas remains without tight end Monte Lassiter.
Most importantly, the number remains usable. W&W identified Utah at roughly -13 or better as playable, and the current market still offers approximately Utah -12.5.

Why Ohio State vs Texas Is Not on the Best Bets Card
Winners & Whiners originally recommended Ohio State +2.5 against Texas and specifically identified Ohio State +2 or better as the attractive range.
The market has since tightened to approximately Ohio State +1.5.
That is an important distinction. The matchup itself has not suddenly become unattractive, but the price no longer meets the threshold attached to the original W&W recommendation.
Rather than force another play into the card, the better approach is to keep the Best Bets list limited to wagers whose current numbers still support the original handicap.
