Sabalenka US Open Chances at 23% on Kalshi Live Odds
Aryna Sabalenka remains the favorite to win the 2026 U.S. Open women's singles championship after an eventful start to Fan Week in New York.
The current Kalshi market gives Sabalenka a 23% chance to win a third consecutive U.S. Open title.
Iga Swiatek is second at 16%, while Coco Gauff has slipped to 14%.
Sabalenka's probability has increased from 22% since Monday even though she and Novak Djokovic were eliminated from the U.S. Open mixed-doubles competition Tuesday.

That result did not create an obvious health concern.
The official U.S. Open recap noted that both Sabalenka and Djokovic appeared healthy and fit despite losing their opening match.
The Kalshi women's U.S. Open winner market has now generated more than $862,000 in trading volume.

Aryna Sabalenka U.S. Open Chances at 23%
Sabalenka remains the clear leader in the women's championship market.
| Player | Kalshi Chance |
|---|---|
| Aryna Sabalenka | 23% |
| Iga Swiatek | 16% |
| Coco Gauff | 14% |
The gap between Sabalenka and Swiatek is now seven percentage points.
Sabalenka's 23% probability also means the market still assigns roughly a three-in-four combined chance to somebody else winning the title.
That is an important distinction.
She is the favorite, but the women's tournament remains wide open.

Sabalenka Looked Healthy During U.S. Open Fan Week
Tuesday gave traders their first competitive look at Sabalenka in New York.
Sabalenka and Djokovic entered the revamped U.S. Open mixed-doubles competition as the No. 1 seeds but were upset by doubles world No. 1s Katerina Siniakova and Henry Patten.
Sabalenka and Djokovic won the opening set 4-1.
Siniakova and Patten responded by taking the second set 4-2 and dominating the deciding match tiebreak 10-2.
The loss ended Sabalenka's mixed-doubles run immediately.
The more important development for the singles futures market came from how she looked physically.
Sabalenka and Djokovic had both entered Fan Week following disappointing Cincinnati results.
According to the official U.S. Open assessment, both appeared healthy and fit and moved comfortably around Arthur Ashe Stadium.
That matters more to Sabalenka's singles outlook than the mixed-doubles result itself.
Recent Hard-Court Form Is the Main Question
The case against Sabalenka at 23% starts with her recent singles results.
She reached the round of 16 in Toronto before losing to Ekaterina Alexandrova in three sets.
Sabalenka then won her first two Cincinnati matches before Sara Bejlek upset her 7-6(7), 6-4 in the round of 16.
That loss was particularly notable because Bejlek had never previously defeated a Top 10 opponent.
Sabalenka therefore enters New York without the dominant North American hard-court run bettors might expect from the tournament favorite.
She has not reached a singles semifinal since Berlin in June.
There is nevertheless a major difference between questionable recent form and a physical problem.
Tuesday's Fan Week appearance provided evidence that health should not be the leading concern.
Sabalenka Is Chasing a Third Straight U.S. Open Title
No player in the women's field has a stronger recent U.S. Open résumé.
Sabalenka won the 2024 championship by defeating Jessica Pegula in the final.
She successfully defended the title in 2025, beating Amanda Anisimova 6-3, 7-6(3).
Sabalenka is therefore attempting to win three consecutive U.S. Opens.
Serena Williams was the last woman to accomplish that feat, winning the tournament in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Sabalenka has also reached at least the U.S. Open semifinals in each of the past five years.
Her power game is particularly effective on the New York hard courts.
She can take control of points with the first serve and first groundstroke, while her improved movement and defensive consistency have made her less dependent on immediate winners than earlier in her career.
That combination explains why traders continue to price her above the rest of the women's field.
Iga Swiatek Is the Closest Challenger at 16%
Swiatek remains the second choice.
Her 16% probability leaves her seven points behind Sabalenka.
The gap is meaningful but not overwhelming.
Swiatek already owns a U.S. Open championship after winning the tournament in 2022.
She also remains one of the few players in the field whose Grand Slam résumé is clearly comparable to Sabalenka's.
A favorable draw could reduce the gap quickly.
Swiatek's ability to control rallies from the baseline and apply relentless return pressure makes her dangerous against virtually every opponent in the field.
At 16%, traders view her as Sabalenka's primary alternative rather than a distant second choice.
Coco Gauff Is Still a Major U.S. Open Contender
Gauff currently sits third at 14%.
That is down from the 15% level displayed Monday.
The American remains firmly inside the top tier.
Gauff won the U.S. Open in 2023 and will again have significant crowd support throughout the tournament.
Her athleticism and defensive coverage can make her exceptionally difficult to finish points against on hard courts.
The primary question is whether her serve and forehand remain stable enough across seven matches.
At 14%, Gauff trails Sabalenka by nine percentage points but remains close enough for a favorable draw or strong opening rounds to change the market quickly.
The Women's U.S. Open Draw Is Still Unknown
One major variable remains unresolved.
The women's singles draw is scheduled to be revealed Thursday, August 27.
That means Sabalenka does not yet have a legitimate projected route through the tournament.
Main-draw singles begins Sunday, August 30.
Draw placement can materially affect a futures probability.
Sabalenka could land in a quarter containing another elite hard-court player or dangerous unseeded opponent.
She could also receive a cleaner path that allows her to build rhythm before meeting another championship contender.
That makes Thursday's draw the next major catalyst for the 23% market price.

Why Sabalenka Can Win the 2026 U.S. Open
Sabalenka has already proven she can dominate this tournament.
She is the two-time defending champion.
She is ranked No. 1 in the world.
Her aggressive serve and groundstrokes are well suited to the U.S. Open hard courts.
She also enters the tournament healthy based on what was visible during Tuesday's Fan Week appearance.
Most importantly, Sabalenka understands how to survive the second week in New York.
Winning a Grand Slam requires handling different opponents, night sessions, crowd pressure and inevitable stretches of poor tennis.
Sabalenka has repeatedly shown she can manage those conditions at Flushing Meadows.
What Could Stop Aryna Sabalenka?
Recent form is the most obvious concern.
Sabalenka has failed to get beyond the round of 16 in Toronto and Cincinnati.
Her Cincinnati loss to Bejlek showed that her power advantage does not automatically protect her against lower-ranked opponents when her execution drops.
The women's field is also deep.
Swiatek and Gauff are both former U.S. Open champions.
Other contenders outside the displayed top three can become major threats depending on Thursday's draw.
Sabalenka's 23% price should therefore be understood as a championship probability, not a prediction that she will cruise through the field.
Can Aryna Sabalenka Win the 2026 U.S. Open?
Sabalenka enters the tournament with the strongest championship case in the women's field.
She is the world No. 1, the two-time defending U.S. Open champion and the current market favorite.
Tuesday's mixed-doubles loss was disappointing, but it did not produce an obvious singles concern.
Sabalenka appeared healthy and fit, while her championship probability actually increased from 22% to 23%.
Recent singles form remains the primary question.
She lost in the round of 16 in both Toronto and Cincinnati and will not know her U.S. Open draw until Thursday.
Kalshi nevertheless continues to make Sabalenka the woman to beat.
At 23%, she holds a seven-point advantage over Swiatek and a nine-point edge over Gauff as the tournament moves closer to Sunday's opening singles matches.
