Fanatics is a well-known name in the broader sports world, but how does its sportsbook app actually perform? That is the question I set out to answer in this in-depth Fanatics review.
I evaluated the platform’s market depth, pricing, promotional offers, and overall usability to see how it stacks up against other leading betting apps. Does Fanatics deliver a smooth, dependable experience, or does it fall short in key areas? Based on my testing, it leans firmly toward the reliable side, and below I break down exactly why.

Fanatics has a good range of betting markets on offer, but what really makes it stand out is its competitive odds. They might be some of the most exciting and competitive odds I've seen, and they keep me coming back.
On top of the great odds, they often have odds boost promotions, making them even better. I also like that they offer football streaming, it's a nice touch on a well-made app. The simple VIP rewards are always welcome too. In general, Fanatics is a great sportsbook with a lot of reasons to keep coming back.
When it comes to competitive odds, Fanatics Sportsbook is a strong choice, particularly if you bet on markets like NFL, NBA, and college sports. It's an app only sportsbook though, so no desktop betting, which may be disappointing to some users. However, this means the focus has been on delivering a clean and sleek user experience for mobile, and it's certainly paid off. The search function is fantastic, and you can filter leagues, teams, props, etc in seconds.
One unique feature is the FanCash rewards system, which adds ongoing value after the welcome bonus. Once you've collected enough FanCash you can redeem it for things like bonus bets and merchandise. Other areas such as payment methods and customer support are worth a mention, both for variety and efficiency. Fanatics Sportsbook is a top pick for mobile bettors.
Okay, I'm gonna kick off today's review with a straight to the point overview of what Fanatics Sportsbook has to offer – which, let me tell you right away, is a lot. If you're already familiar with the where is Fanatics legal page, you'll know this brand covers an impressive slice of the US market.
Sign up for an account from an eligible US state right now, and I found you'll gain no holds barred access to more than 20 different sports markets, which like Caitlin Clark dropping 30-plus points on any given WNBA night, is more than a bit above the average.
What's up for grabs, exactly? Well, here's what I found…
Unsurprisingly, my Fanatics review found the markets on the table here vary depending on which of the brand's 22 legal states you're betting from (more on those later). But for most folk, there's scope to lock in odds on the following leagues, and more:
While other events and tournaments that get equally good coverage include international favorites like the UK Premier League, tennis grand slams and Formula 1. With NASCAR, MMA and even NCAA numbers for the taking in some states, too, where local laws and licenses allow.
So far so good. But are the odds worth a second look?
Odds wise, Fanatics is legitimately one of the most competitive American sportsbooks around. If popular American sports are what you're into, that is.
Fanatics is nothing short of superb for NBA and NFL numbers. And the same goes for NCAAB, too, in states where collegiate betting odds are available.
It's not just your run of the mill money lines where Fanatics shines brightly here, either – in recent years, the brand's built up a real rep for its competitive player props and alt spreads, too, which I can totally vouch for.
Nevertheless, I'd be lying if I said it was the same sunny skies here for more niche sports. I found that Fanatics sometimes struggles to keep pace with its bigger rivals on the likes of darts, snooker and smaller cricket event odds, for example. Although on the upside, live betting opportunities are often available across most of these markets – which ain't always the case elsewhere.
When writing today's Fanatics review, I ran into more fun features than Saquon Barkley did hurdles during his viral "backwards hurdle" touchdown back in 2024. Here are some personal highlights:
New customers in AZ, CO, CT, DC, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, VT, WV, or WY. Must toggle on this promotion in your bet slip and wager $5+ cash on any market (min. odds -500) within 7 days of account opening to receive $200 in FanCash. Promotional FanCash expires 7 days from issuance (at 11:59pm ET). Terms, including FanCash terms apply-see Fanatics Sportsbook app.
So, Fanatics' feature packed sportsbook sure does ensure a lot. But can the corporate guys and gals in charge of the brand be trusted to deliver? And is Fanatics legit?
Well, I can tell you folks that it's a big fat yes on both counts here – Fanatics is licensed and legal in 22 different US states (plus Washington DC) right now, and the brand itself has been a recognized betting industry player since 2023, having first cut its teeth in the sports merch and apparel biz back in '95, where it remains a heavy hitter today.
At the time of writing, the site accepts bettors from Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, DC, West Virginia and Wyoming, so long as you're 21 or above.
That's a long list of greenlit Fanatics states, am I right? And I was impressed to see that the brand has partnered with the likes of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and Ohio Casino Control Commission in recent years, too.
At the same time, the brand's real security conscious – it offers a fully encrypted website that comes pre-loaded with direct links to reputable responsible gambling organizations, and an app that offers biometric login options and two factor authentication (2FA) to boot.
Fanatics' website is a bit like Bill Belichick on the sidelines – it's a great source of information, but not exactly in the center of the action.
Translation: Fanatics has a betting app which you'll need to download before you can actually place any bets with the brand. Their website serves mainly as an information hub dotted with "how to" info about how their sportsbook and casino offerings work, what bonuses are up for grabs and where you can (or can't) legally bet from.
For those purposes, it gets the job done nicely enough and is dead easy to navigate, too, thanks to its singular menu and clutter free design. But I found that by and large, Fanatics' much more important app is where all the fun stuff happens. So, let's pivot to that in the next section, yeah?
I had a blast tapping my way around the brand's must have app, and here's why – like Tom Brady in a two-minute drill, it's slick, sensible and unlikely to hit you with any unwanted surprises when you least expect it.
My Fanatics Sportsbook review found a lot to like here. The brand's betting lines are easy to read, the color scheme's all black and white, with no garish colors or annoying animations, and the "+$5", "+$10" and "+$50" quick bet buttons make upping your stakes a cinch.
There's a lot of hype about this online already, I know, but Fanatics' app's search function is best in class, too – on top of helping you find teams, leagues and the usual stuff, it's smart enough to filter specific player props and bet types for you in seconds, too. And even offers autocomplete.
Unsurprisingly, the app boasts ace reviews on the App Store and Google Play as well, where it holds averages of 4.8/5 and 4.7/5, respectively.
Although of course, it goes without saying that the mandatory download requirement before you can place any bets with Fanatics in the first place ain't gonna sit well with everybody. So, here's to hoping their website gets fleshed out a bit in the near future. Watch this space!
Fanatics has plenty to offer when it comes to promos, too. Much like I found in my recent BetMGM review, you folks can always expect a welcome offer of some way, shape or form when you first register. Although of course, what's up for grabs exactly may vary depending on where you're signing up from. For more information on sportsbook bonuses, check out our sportsbook welcome bonuses guide.
When I punched in my own deets to join from my home state of Arizona, I was offered up to $200 in FanCash over my first 7 days of membership, provided I made cash bets daily during the promo period, and said bets lost.
Furthermore, for bettors in the state of Missouri, Fanatics have a fantastic offer where they need to bet $5 to get $200 in bonus FanCash. Bettors must be 21 years and above to preregister. They have to opt in and make a deposit of at least $5 to get $200.
Keep in mind that you must apply the promotion in your bet slip and place a $5+ cash wager with a minimum odds of -500. FanCash issued under this promotion expires at 11:59 p.m. ET 7 days from issuance. Terms and conditions apply.

Personally, I'm a big fan of no sweat bet promos like this one – particularly when they don't require a Fanatics Sportsbook promo code for activation, as was the case here.
Having said that, I'd strongly suggest giving my recent Fanatics bonus guide a read if you're interested in the full ins and outs of this one, as the T&Cs regarding minimum odds and the like (bets must go down on odds of -500 or longer to qualify) could trip you up if you ain't being too careful.
Also, Fanatics have a 'Bet $5 Get $400 FanCash sequenced ($100/day for 4 days)' exclusive offer available to new customers located in North Carolina and Tennessee, where you must turn on (toggle) the promotion in your bet slip and place a wager of at least $5 using your own cash on any market with minimum odds of -500 or longer, within 7 days of opening your account to qualify.
After that, you will receive $100 in FanCash each day for your first four days; however, you must opt in each day to claim that day's reward. Any FanCash you receive through this promotion will expire 24 hours after it is issued, so it must be used quickly.
Additional terms and conditions, including full details about how FanCash works, can be found in the Fanatics Sportsbook app.
Likewise, the Fanatics 'Daily 100% Profit Boost Token' offer is open to new customers only in IL and NY. Participants are required to create an account, after which they will receive one 100% Profit Boost token each day for five consecutive days.
Each token can be used on a bet with a maximum stake of $25 and minimum odds of -500 or longer, and it must be applied in their bet slip before placing the bet. Please note that each Profit Boost token expires 24 hours after it is issued, so it must be used within that time. For full details and additional conditions, you should check the Fanatics Sportsbook app.

Must toggle on this promotion in your bet slip and wager $5+ cash on any market (min. odds -500) within 7 days of account opening to receive $200 in FanCash. As is the case with any good sportsbook, Fanatics' promos aren't limited to new customers only. Far from it, actually – because this brand has one of the best loyalty programs I've seen in quite some time.
It's called FanCash, and it ain't your nuts and bolts, tiered VIP program with mandatory milestones and overcomplicated rules. Instead, it's a rewards scheme fuelled by a promo redeemable virtual currency, which you can collect bit by bit each time you put down a cash bet. If you're shopping around for value, our guide to sportsbook promo codes is a great place to compare what other top books are currently offering.
How does it work? Well, my Fanatics Sportsbook review found that win or lose, you'll automatically get some FanCash whenever one of your real cash bets settles, with up to 10% of your initial bet returned as FanCash, depending on what odds you originally selected.
Stack up enough in your FanCash balance – which is denoted in-app on your account page – and you can redeem it for:
While at the same time, there's scope to participate in a refer a friend program that'll offer you up to $80 in FanCash per referral or take advantage of seasonal "Fair Play" promos that protect your player props in the event of injuries. Although of course, all bonuses are subject to state by state availability.
Fanatics' deposit and withdrawal options are fast, trustworthy and easy to work with – a bit like Shohei Ohtani launching a home run in the ninth inning. If you're the type who likes to keep your initial outlay low, it's also worth checking out our guide to minimum deposit sportsbooks for a broader look at budget-friendly options.
Fanatics is a legit app-based sportsbook, remember? So, as you'd expect, Apple Pay is super well integrated in their iOS app, as are PayPal and Venmo. While I found you can fund your account using various debit cards or wire transfer, too, with minimum limits starting out at just $5 to $10 across most payment methods.
Deposits are processed dead quickly, while withdrawals don't exactly slouch around, either. I found that cash out times clock in at about one to three business days for most payment methods, with PayPal and Venmo cutting the average down closer to 24 to 48 hours. Avoid paper checks, mind, which could potentially see you left waiting up to 10 business days or more for your funds.
Another area where Fanatics is legit in my book is customer service, where the brand knocks it completely out of the park. These guys just get what bettors like you and I need.
How so? Well, you've more options here than Ja Morant did when he dropped 47 points with 8 assists and 8 rebounds in Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors back in 2022. Currently, I found that all the following support channels are available to most Fanatics users:
| Support option | Availability | What I found |
| Live chat | 24/7. | Fanatics’ live chat folks were about as friendly as they come. Whenever I fired up the service, these guys pinged me back within an hour or less, too. |
| Email support | 24/7. | Things were a little slower here during my tests, but I still got friendly replies within the same day of writing in. |
| Telephone hotline | 8am to 9pm ET. | Naturally, this one does get a bit busy at times, but I found it still totally gets the job done. |
| Help Center | 24/7. | This last option’s more of an FAQs hub than a direct contact link – but it covers a ton of genuinely helpful topics, and works well as a first port of call. |
In addition to the above, there's an official Fanatics Support X account you can reach out to as well. But personally, I find it's easier to hit up the team from within the app, am I right?

Personally, I'm a big fan of Fanatics right now. Their app-based sportsbook offers consistently competitive odds on top American sports leagues, slick betting tools, and a fun, FanCash rewards system that helps you chase on site perks and promos between game days – and I'm here for all of it.
Don't get me wrong, it's a crying shame you can't place bets from your laptop or desktop with this one. But in my book, that's a small price to pay when you consider all that Fanatics has to offer markets, odds and bonus wise if you don't mind downloading an app to get started. If you want to keep your options open, our roundup of the best betting sites is a handy way to compare the top contenders side by side.

You betcha. My Fanatics Sportsbook review was dead impressed by the breadth and quality of the app's coverage – which extends from NFL, NBA and MLB odds to numbers on NASCAR, European soccer leagues, cricket, tennis and more.
As and when they're available, Fair Play promos return lost props bets in instances where you back a player who gets injured during the first or second quarter of a game. These promos are most commonly advertised on NFL games.
