2023 NFL Draft Betting Preview-Interior Offensive Line
The 2023 NFL Draft is getting closer as we head towards April 27-29 from Kansas City. The top offensive guard expected to be drafted is O’Cyrus Torrence from Florida, who is expected to go in the second round. There are also some tackles in college, who could move to guard like Broderick Jones from Georgia and Peter Skoronski from Northwestern.

1)O’Cyrus Torrence, Florida, 6-5, 330
Torrence is a former starter at Louisiana-Layafette for three years and transferred to Florida. He’s an absolute mauler in the ground game and has a wide base for pass protection. An absolute beats who is the only guard who might sneak into the first round.
2)John Michael Schmitz, Minnesota, 6-3, 301
Cerebral player who has good quickness and enough athleticism to hold his own. Only major weakness is that he doesn’t have major upside and will be 24 by the time the season starts.
3)Steve Avila, TCU, 6-3, 332
A powerful guard and center who allowed just 11 pressures on 540 pass-blocking snaps in 2022 according to PFF. He played left guard and center at TCU. Is very strong and should be athletic enough to play center. He slowed down Jalen Carter in the national title game against Georgia, so he’s legit.
4)Joe Tippmann, Wisconsin, 6-6, 313
Another big strong Wisconsin offensive lineman who has an edge to his game and can play center or guard with good length. He’s also athletic enough to play right tackle if needed.
5)Nick Broeker, Ole Miss, 6-4, 305
Broeker could play left tackle, but he started at left guard in 2022 at Ole Miss. He started for three years at left tackle and is athletic and fast. But lack of arm length (32.5) makes him a better fit at guard.
6)Nick Saldivieri, Old Dominion, 6-6, 318
He’s one of those late risers, who could sneak into the late second round. Good feel for the game and flexible lower body. Moves very well. Drawback is competition in Sun Belt.
7)Luke Wypler, Ohio State, 6-3, 303
Wypler is a bit undersized and will be a center. But he’ll be a good one. Will need some time to get stronger and is just 21. Very athletic and quick. He also had 29 bench-press reps which shows that he’s not going to get pushed around too often.
8)Jarrett Patterson, Notre Dame, 6-5, 306
Solid big man who is a technician. Has the height to play tackle, but no the length (31.38). Most likely a fourth-round pick, who has the ability to play guard or center.
9) Olusegun Oluwatimi, Michigan, 6-2, 309
Undersized center who was a dominant player at Air Force, Virginia and Michigan. Won the Rimington Trophy and Outland. Powerful base and very strong. Not super athletic.
10)Ricky Stromberg, Arkansas, 6-3, 306
A technician who started 44 games in four years. Won award for best blocker in the SEC. Started all 12 games at center and didn’t allow a sack or QB hit.
