NFL Draft 2020 Prop Bets Picks Part Two

Who will be the second QB drafted?

• Tua Tagovailoa (-550)

• Justin Herbert (+300)

• Jordan Love (+1100)

• Field (+2000)

Pick : Justin Herbert (+300)

I understand why Tagovailoa is the favorite here after he participated in a medical recheck and received positive word, but I don't think this will give teams enough assurance to take him as the second quarterback off the board. Miami will almost certainly be the team taking the second quarterback with their fifth pick, and I fully expect them to move forward with Herbert and avoid Tua due to concerns.

Who will be the third QB drafted?

• Justin Herbert (-350)

• Jordan Love (+225)

• Tua Tagovailoa (+600)

• Jacob Eason (+4500)

• Field (+3500)

Pick : Tua Tagovailoa (+600)

This play is directly coordinated with the previous one. With Miami owning the fifth pick and most likely being the team taking the second quarterback, I believe they will go contrarian and take Justin Herbert. It's tough to return to full strength after a hip injury, and I have a hard time believing the Dolphins will pull the trigger on Tagovailoa. I have Tua going seventh on my board to the Panthers, and I'm very confident that Herbert will be off the board before Tagovailoa.

Who will be the third overall pick?

• Jeff Okudah (+130)

• Tua Tagovailoa (+165)

• Chase Young (+500)

• Isaiah Simmons (+650)

• Derrick Brown (+1400)

• Field (+1000)

I'm not going to give a definite pick on this one because there's a lot of variables here. As I mentioned in part one of my prop bets articles, I expect Washington to shock everyone and not select Chase Young. If this is the case, he will most certainly land third to the Chargers. If the Redskins do take Young, I would look to either Isaiah Simmons or Jeff Okudah here. Okudah is a shutdown corner and the Chargers could use that. On the other hand, Simmons is the most versatile player in this draft as he's taken snaps at four different positions on the defensive side. I fully expect the Chargers to select a defensive player with this pick, and it will be directly correlated with what Washington does above them.

First Running Back Drafted

• D'Andre Swift (-185)

• Jonathan Taylor (+150)

• J.K. Dobbins (+850)

• Field (+1500)

Pick : Jonathan Taylor (+150)

Despite there not being a ton of demand for running backs in this year's draft, this is one of the more interesting prop bets available. While D'Andre Swift is drawing a bunch of attention, so is Jonathan Taylor. Between these two, Taylor is the more NFL-ready in my opinion. Taylor only started for three seasons and he finishes his college career with the second-most rushing yards in Big Ten history. I believe that he will pull an "upset" here as I still have some concerns about Swift.

First Wide Receiver Drafted

• CeeDee Lamb (+100)

• Jerry Jeudy (-110)

• Henry Ruggs (+300)

• Field (+2000)

Pick : Jerry Jeudy (-110)

I like the Alabama Crimson Tide standout wide receiver to be the first one taken off the board. Earlier in the year, most of the hype was surrounding CeeDee Lamb, but Jerry Jeudy has taken a lot of the talks away despite lining up on the same field as Henry Ruggs. Jeudy brings a certain explosiveness to the table and he has sure-hands. Lamb and Jeudy will most certainly be the first two wideouts selected, but I believe that Jeudy's raw talent will be what sets them apart in terms of who is drafted first.

First Offensive Lineman Drafted

• Tristan Wirfs (-130)

• Wekhi Becton (+170)

• Jedrick Wills (+300)

• Andrew Thomas (+1400)

• Field (+2000)

Pick : Tristan Wirfs (-130)

This year's offensive lineman class is very top-heavy, and the Iowa Hawkeye product Tristan Wirfs has set himself apart from the rest of the field. Wekhi Becton's best feature is his speed due to his outstanding 40 time, but I don't see that being enough to steer a team away from taking him over Wirfs. Jedrick Wills from Alabama is solid as well, but he's not quite as dominant as Wirfs and he didn't have quite the combine. I believe that Wirfs could sneak into the top five somewhere, and he will surely be the first offensive lineman off the board.
