2024-25 NBA Regular Season Wins Props

NBA Regular Season Wins Props

The NBA season is just a few weeks away so it’s time to look at some future props. When it comes to regular season wins, there is some luck involved (injuries), but also value. Let’s take a look at the regular season wins props as well as other numbers with value.

(odds from Draft Kings)

Atlanta Hawks

Over 36.5 (-105)

Dejounte Murray did not work out with Trey Young in the backcourt, but it’s also time to give youngsters like Dyson Daniels more opportunities.

Boston Celtics

Under 58.5 (-110)

Also take Under 57.5 (+120)

They were a machine last season, but Kristaps Porzingis will miss at least a month if not two. Al Horford isn’t getting any younger. Great team, but they don’t need 60 wins to repeat.

Brooklyn Nets

Under 19.5 (-105)

This could be a historically bad team after they gave away their best player-Mikal Bridges-to their local rival Knicks.

Charlotte Hornets:

Over 30.5 (-105)

This is not a contending team, but they should be much better than last season assuming LaMelo Ball plays at least 60 games. The addition of Josh Green and the maturation of Brandon Miller makes this a more competitive squad.

Chicago Bulls

Over 27.5 (-125)

Just not a great fit for this group, but too much talent to be terrible. If Lonzo Ball can return to form from 2+ years ago or get close, the tank is over.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Under 48.5 (-105)

Cleveland has Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, but something is missing. Probably a bench and more length and athleticism at wing.

Dallas Mavericks

Over 49.5

Hello, Klay Thompson and a few more wins.

Denver Nuggets

Under 51.5 (-115)

Also, Under 50.5 (+115)

Denver takes a dip this season with no KCP and a bench that gets smaller and smaller.

Detroit Pistons

Over 22.5 (+100)

Come on. They can’t be bad forever. Tobias Harris doesn’t add great talent, but he’s a professional along with Tim Hardaway Jr.

Golden State Warriors

Over 44.5 (+100)

The Warriors are not contenders anymore, but they can get to 45 wins with Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Andrew Wiggins and two new additions (Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson).

Houston Rockets

Over 43.5 (-115)

Ime Udoka has done wonders with this squad. They will continue to get better with a lot of young talent mixed in with veterans.

Indiana Pacers

Over 46.5 (+100)

How can you not like Tyrese Haliburton? The return of Bennedict Mathurin should help.

LA Clippers

Under 39.5 (-105)

It’s over Johnny. Even if Kawhi Leonard returns at one point, this is an old team with a bunch of aging role players. Even Paul George couldn’t have saved them.

LA Lakers

Over 43.5 (-105)

Sometimes you have to zig, when everyone zags. The Lakers are still good enough to get 45 wins.

Memphis Grizzlies

Over 47.5 (-105)

Ja Morant is back and all they need is luck (health) to win 50 games.

Miami Heat

Under 44.5 (-115)

Unless they make a bold trade, this is a squad on the downwards trend.

Milwaukee Bucks

Under 50.5

Can’t forget about the Bucks, but Dame Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo just never seemed to gel. It’s not going to happen in the second season.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Over 52.5 (-105)

Didn’t love the KAT trade, but Donte DiVincenzo has become a baller.

New Orleans Pelicans

Over 46.5 (+100)

Also, take Over 48.5 (+160)

A slimmed down Zion Williamson with newly-acquired Dejounte Murray for some reason went under the radar.

New York Knicks

Under 54.5 (-110)

The pressure is on in New York and will Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges make them a lot better. Probably not.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Over 56.5 -105

Also take Over 57.5 (+125)

Super-talented and long. The addition of Alex Caruso and Isaih Hartenstein adds a few more wins.

Orlando Magic

Over 47.5 (-120)

Also, add Over 48.5 (+115)

They needed a veteran and got one in KCP, who has a title. Probably another player away, but they are getting closer.

Philadelphia 76ers

Over 52.5 (+105)

The window is closing on the process, but the pick up of Paul George should pay off in dividends along with Joel Embiid losing about 25 pounds.

Phoenix Suns

Under 47.5 (-115)

At what point, does Kevin Durant ask for a trade to Boston or OKC?

Portland Trailblazers

Over 22.5 (+100)

That’s a very low total for a talented young team with the likes of Anfernee Simons, Scoot Henderson and 6-9 Deni Avdija.

Sacramento Kings

Under 46.5 (-120)

The Kings are solid, but stuck in the middle of a juggernaut of a conference, but a mediocre division.

San Antonio Spurs

Over 36.5

Wemby put on 25 pounds? Gregg Popovich is still coaching? At some point they need to turn it around. Rookie Stephon Castle will be another big defensive guard to add to the fold.

Toronto Raptors

Under 29.5 (+100)

The plan is to draft high so even though they have Scottie Barnes and R.J. Barrett, they’ll attempt to find a way to win 25 or less.

Utah Jazz:

Under 29.5 (-120)

Another team going with youth and hoping to get a high pick in the 2025 Draft.

Washington Wizards

Under 20.5 (+105)

Another squad hoping to get Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey. They’ll trade Kyle Kuzma before the trade deadline to help with that number. They are also very bad with him.
