2024 NFL Futures-Playoffs

2024 NFL Futures-Playoffs

The 2024 NFL Draft and most of free agency is over. It’s time to look at some NFL Props for the upcoming season. Let’s start with the best odds to make the playoffs. It’s not worth laying -475 to pick San Francisco to make the 2024 playoffs, because there’s a very good shot that they will. But what about any surprises? Let’s take a look.

(odds from Draft Kings)

To Make the Playoffs

Philadelphia Eagles No +110

The Eagles did get Saquon Barkley and added to a weak secondary in the draft. But Dallas isn’t leaving the East and Jalen Hurts needs to bounce back from a shaky season.

Indianapolis Colts Yes +160

Anthony Richardson is back and he’ll be gearing up for a big second season after being injured most of last year. The addition of 6-6, 325-pound DT Raekwon Davis will help their run defense. First-round pick Laiatu Latu will provide some EDGE help. The Colts were 9-8 and just missed the playoffs with a backup quarterback.

Pittsburgh Steelers Yes +170

Every year, Mike Tomlin is on the hotseat and he continues to find a way to make the playoffs with marginal talent. He’s never had a losing record in 17 straight seasons. They brought in Russell Wilson and Justin Fields at quarterback, and improved the offensive line with rookie Troy Fautanu at left tackle and rookie Zach Frazier at center. ILB Patrick Queen will help the overall defense.

Tampa Bay Bucs Yes +145

The Bucs made it last season with Baker Mayfield at QB in a bad NFC South and they addressed some needs in the off-season including keeping star WR Mike Evans and taking center Graham Braton with their first round pick in the NFL Draft. An improved pass defense and running game led by rookie Bucky Irving, should give them another playoff berth.
