2024 NFL Futures – Team Specials: Ravens and Panthers

2024 NFL Futures – Team Specials

The 2024 NFL Draft and most of free agency is over. It’s time to look at some NFL Props for the upcoming season. There are some really good values if you look at some futures within each team. For example, if you think Patrick Mahomes is going to throw for over 5,000 yards this season, the odds are at +550 on May 9. That’s something he’s accomplished just twice in six full seasons. Let’s take a look.at some specials with the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers.

(odds from Draft Kings)

Baltimore Ravens

Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson to combine for 2000+ rushing yards in the regular season +350

Jackson had 821 rushing yards last season in 16 games and had 764 in 12 games. He’s down to 205 pounds so he could be as dynamic as he was in 2019 and 2020 when he rushed over 1,005 yards. The Ravens under OC Todd Monken may utilize more RPO again with Derrick Henry in the backfield. Henry ran for just 1,167 yards last season but with Jackson as a dual-threat QB, he could rush for over 1,400 yards with ease.

Derrick Henry to Score 15+ Rushing TDs in the Regular Season +550

At 250 pounds, Henry is a load. He’s going to get all the goal-line touches with Gus Edwards gone. In his worst season, he had 10 rushing touchdowns and that was in 10 games. He’s now playing for a better offense where teams just can't focus on him anymore.

Carolina Panthers

Diontae Johnson to have 1000+ Receiving Yards in the Regular Season +200

The key is the quarterback situation but Johnson is a talented speedster and you throw in rookie Xavier Legette to give second-year QB Bryce Young better weapons. Johnson‘s numbers were down the last two seasons because of inadequate QB play.
