College Basketball Betting Top Ten (Week of February 14th)

Another week and more comings and going in the Top Ten with just two weeks left until conference tournaments begin. Here is this week’s Top Ten.

Top Ten (Week of February 14th)

Welcome Back: Marquette; Outside Looking in: Illinois

#10. Kansas (19-6) (+2200) - The Jayhawks do not have enough depth to win games without one of their top six, particularly on the road. That proved to be true in a blowout loss at Texas Tech without Kevin McCullar, Jr. Last Week’s Rank: 10th

#9. Duke (19-5) (+2800) - I like the makeup of this team but they are still missing that signature game this season. I’m sure Duke fans would be fine if that doesn’t come until the NCAA Tourney. Last Week’s Rank: 5th

#8. North Carolina (19-6) (+1600) - The Heels are too good to have such miserable road losses this season. Their performance in Miami is more indicative of what they are capable of in the tournament. Last Week’s Rank: 4th

#7. Marquette (19-5) (+2200) - The Golden Eagles vault back into the Top Ten as they prep for two games against the #1 Huskies in a week. Last Week’s Rank: Unranked

#6. Auburn (19-5) (+1800) - A hit-and-miss week for the Tigers. They dominated Alabama at home and then laid an egg on the road against Florida. Last Week’s Rank: 5th

#5. Tennessee (17-6) (+1100) - The Vols went 1-1 heading into this weekend but still have played a class schedule and have the experience come tourney time. Last Week’s Rank: 6th

#4. Arizona (19-5) (+1200) - The Wildcats picked up two straight wins heading into the weekend as they climb the standings with a chance at a #1 seed. Last Week’s Rank: 8th

#3. Houston (21-3) (+950) - Another weekend win and the Cougars remain the class of the Big 12. Last Week’s Rank: 3rd

#2. Purdue (22-2) (+650) - Purdue rolls on and could jump back into the top spot if the Huskies falter against Marquette this weekend. Last Week’s Rank: 2

#1. UConn (22-2) (+650) - UConn gears up for a weekend showdown with Marquette. Last Week’s Rank: 1

Game of the Weekend, Season Record 3-0: Michigan State picked up a huge win over Illinois to keep us perfect this season.

Kentucky at #6 Auburn: The Tigers have a chance to rise to the top of the SEC with a win over a Kentucky team that lost three straight home games in the last two weeks. Take Auburn to win big over the Wildcats on Saturday.
