The Upper bracket quarter-final of the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Finals will continue with a tilt between Complexity (Europe) and OG (Europe). Both teams are fighting to enter the next round, where they will meet a better team from Natus Vincere and NiP matchup. It is a Best of 3 matchup.
Complexity Team Stats and Latest Results
Complexity (#20 World Rank) are entering this duel as favorites even though they are playing in hot and cold form recently. They displayed some good performances at Home Sweet Home Cup 8, but couldn’t beat #23 forZe in the semi-finals and had to settle with the third place and no prize money. When it comes to the maps, Complexity are the most successful at Vertigo (61.1 winning percentage, 18 times played) and MIrage (57.8%, 185 times played).
On the other hand, they are not very good when playing Overpass (33.3%, 60 times played) and Train (44.9%, 158 times played). Complexity’s current lineup consists of: RUSH (1.00 Rating), k0nfig (1.09), poizon (1.18), oBo (1.11), and blameF (1.24). This lineup played together on 147 maps since January 2020 and has a record of 94 wins and 53 losses.
OG Team Stats and Latest Results
OG (#21) are underdogs after losing five of the previous eight matches and are on a three-game losing run. The most recent defeat came to #32 HAVU at ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe Qualifier, and it was a tight one (14-16, 22-25). Overpass (57.1 winning percentage, played seven times) and Dust2 (50%, 20 times played) are OG favorite maps so far.
OG are the weakest at Inferno (42.1%, 19 times played) and Nuke (42.9%, played 14 times). OG’s current lineup consists of: NBK- (1.03 Rating), valde (1.09), Aleksib (0.99), ISSAA (1.07), and mantuu (1.18). Complexity vs. OG Betting Preview
Complexity definitely has more experience, and that’s the biggest reason I am backing them in this encounter. blameF is a class above all the other players, and considering his recent form; I have no doubts he will play a vital role in this matchup. OG have a negative W/L record, and I think Complexity are a bit too strong for them at the moment. Even though I wouldn’t be surprised if the underdogs take one map, I don’t think they are good enough to make upset. Still, I wouldn’t recommend betting on Over 2.5 Maps – go with Complexity’s victory instead.
