Fnatic and Mousesports will face each other in the Group A elimination match of the cs_summit 6 tournament. The event is a sixteen team Regional Major Ranking event with a $125,000 prize pool. The winner of the tournament receives $34,000 in prize money and, more importantly, 2000 Regional Major Ranking points.

Fnatic Preview

Fnatic’s CS:GO roster includes some of the best names in the game. Players like KRIMZ, JW and flusha have experience at the top of the CS:GO rankings. Fnatic was dominant and exciting in its 2015 run, but the fall from grace was quick and swift. As Fnatic’s roster looks to bounce back in 2020, they have now added Brollan and Golden to the team. Brollan brings the much-needed firepower to the lineup. Meanwhile, Golden has been able to lead the team with new tactics and a unique playstyle. However, the core of the team is still dependent on the veterans. Flusha continues to get kills through smokes and his timing is precisely what Fnatic needs to secure a significant advantage in its matches. Fnatic’s best maps include Overpass, Train and Inferno. The team’s T side gives them a huge advantage as they are exceptional with the economy. With crucial T side rounds, Fnatic can crush the opponent’s economy with ease and thereby securing an edge in the half.

Mousesports Preview

Despite its explosive CS:GO roster, Mousesports has been in poor form recently. The karrigan-led team has lost matches to teams like Godsent, ENCE and Virtus.Pro in the past few weeks. In terms of map pool, Mousesports has a better chance on Dust2 and Nuke. Woxic is one of the most aggressive players on Dust2 with the AWP. He makes clever use of angles to get back to safety after eliminating an opponent. With a 1.14 rating, Ropz is crucial to Mousesports’ performance. So far, he has not disappointed and continues to put up big numbers even during losses for the team. Karrigan is a drag on the team’s performance, but his tactical help should overcome any lack in performance on the scoreboard.

Pick: Fnatic ML (-146 @ Pinnacle)

Despite Fnatic’s rather embarrassing performance against G2 esports, the team is still a top ten CS:GO roster. They have an interesting mix of veteran and young players with a focus on flashy plays. Meanwhile, Mousesports has been struggling with Godsent, ENCE and Virtus.pro. I am going with Fnatic to win this match.
