High Coast Team Stats and Latest Results

High Coast is a new team that joined the CS:GO circus a couple of days ago after a seven-month absence from the tour. They played only three games before the Mythic Winter Cup 2021 and suffered defeats in two of them. However, at this tournament, High Coast defeated both Russian Canadians and Secret Club to reach the Grand Final.

In those two victories, High Coast won both appearances on Inferno and one on Overpass, while they have a 50% of win rate on Mirage (played twice). Rampage (1.00 rating) joined the team for this encounter against Triumph, while RCF (1.14) and bew (1.08) are stand-ins at the moment. The other three members of the squad are djay (1.10), ben1337 (0.92), and PwnAlone (1.18). All three, alongside Rampage, have played together on the New England Whalers, the team that disbanded.

Triumph Team Stats and Latest Results

Prior to the winter break, Triumph didn’t display good performances at the DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 North America, but they won 2nd place at the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North America. They lost the Grand Final to Chaos and earned $15,000 for their efforts. After the break, Triumph beat Eclipse without problems in the opening game of the Mythic Winter Cup 2021, after which they came from behind to defeat RBG in the semi-finals. Triumph won seven of the previous 11 matches.

When it comes to the maps in the last three months, Triumph won the only appearance on Vertigo and was dominant on Inferno (87.5%), while they failed to get a victory on Overpass (played three times) and Dust2 (played twice). Triumph is also experimenting with its lineup quite often, so we don’t know which five players will face High Coast on Sunday. Shakezullah (0.96), Bwills (1.11), and penny (1.02) are certain, while viz (1.16), cxzi (1.14), and Cooper- (1.13) are stand-ins.

High Coast vs. Triumph H2H Record

These rivals have met once before but under different team names. Still, Triumph (then Positive Vibes Only) secured a 2-0 victory at the IEM New York 2020 North America Closed Qualifier in August 2020.

High Coast vs. Triumph Betting Preview

I don’t know much about these teams, but considering it’s a Grand Final, I expect to see a close game with a lot of rounds on each end. High Coast is a favorite, but I wouldn’t bet on the winner, as it seems this one could go either way. That’s why I opted for Over 2.5 maps and attractive odds, which are surely higher than on High Coast to get a win.

The Pick: Over 2.5 Maps (-103 @GG.BET)
