UFC 263 - Adesanya vs Vettori - Card Preview - 6/12/21

The UFC returns to Arizona for UFC 263 Saturday, June 12th. This card is pretty stacked throughout with big names and intriguing match ups.

In the main event, middleweight kingpin, Israel Adesanya defends his crown in a rematch against Italian standout, Marvin Vettori. Their previous bout ended in a close split decision. The war of words is heating up in the build up for this one and it should be exciting when the two get in the cage.

The co main event we have another rematch. This one between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno for the flyweight belt. The first match up ended in a draw back in December in a fight of the night affair.

Also on the main card is the return of Nate Diaz. He hasn't fought since losing to Jorge Masvidal in 2019. He takes on surging welterweight, Leon Edwards. Edwards suffered a no contest due to eye poke this year against Belal Muhammad (who is also on the card against grappling ace Demian Maia).

Ever since renting my first UFC VHS at my local video store, I’ve been in love with the sport of MMA. I’ve watched every single fight that has ever taken place under the UFC banner over the past 25 years. Once I started doing incredibly well in fantasy leagues, I realized I could utilize my skills in fight analytics to make a profit on betting. My obsession with researching every aspect of a fight gave me a real edge in finding value. Since then, it's been one profitable year after the next. Watching your favorite sport is good, but getting paid while watching your favorite sport is better.
