UFC on ESPN+ 51: Santos vs Walker - Card Preview - 10/02/21

Fresh off an excellent PPV this past weekend, we now jump back to the Apex Centre for a pretty solid fight night card follow up. This one is headlined by Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker. Santos is the only man to KO current reigning champion, Jan Blachowicz. He challenged Jon Jones for the title a while back as well but came up on the wrong side of a split decision. His opponent is a wild man and must-see TV. Of Johnny Walker's 18 wins, 15 have come by knockout so on paper at least, this looks like fireworks between two knockout-hungry Brazillians.

The trash-talking Kevin Holland is back and in the co-main event where he takes on Kyle Daukaus (his brother just scored a KO win at heavyweight on the last card). It looks like Valentina will be hanging around Vegas for another week as well since her sister Antonia is fighting on this card along side Casey O'Neill.

Some solid matchmaking for the feature prelim slot here with Joe Solecki taking on Jared Gordon. The rest is sort of what you'd expect for free fight night fare. Check the entire lineup below.

Ever since renting my first UFC VHS at my local video store, I’ve been in love with the sport of MMA. I’ve watched every single fight that has ever taken place under the UFC banner over the past 25 years. Once I started doing incredibly well in fantasy leagues, I realized I could utilize my skills in fight analytics to make a profit on betting. My obsession with researching every aspect of a fight gave me a real edge in finding value. Since then, it's been one profitable year after the next. Watching your favorite sport is good, but getting paid while watching your favorite sport is better.
