XFL cancels the rest of the 2020 season.

Earlier this week, it was planned for games to go on without fans in the stadiums but today XFL announced they would be suspending the rest of the 2020 season. This is likely in response to the NBA's decision to suspend their season and as the US sports community are discussing following suite. A difficult decision, being the inaurgral season for the nacent football league, but a prudent one. In their official statement, the XFL emphasized they will return for 2021 and beyond. (source)
