  • Little Rock (20-11) and the #2 seed UT Martin (21-10) will have a bye until the semifinal round. The opening round on March 6 will have #5 Tennessee State (17-14) against #8 Southern Indiana (8-23). The first matchups continue with #6 SIU Edwardsville (16-15) facing #7 Eastern Illinois (14-17).
  • The quarterfinal round on Thursday will have the Tennessee State/Southern Indiana winner facing #4 seed Western Illinois (20-11). The latter won five of their final six games to close out the regular season.
  • The second quarterfinal features the SIUE/Eastern Illinois winner against #3 Morehead State (23-8). Morehead State struggled to close regular season conference play with a 3-3 record.
  • Top seed Little Rock will await the winner of the first quarterfinal on Friday in the semifinal round. They’re currently the hottest team in the conference, with wins in their previous nine games.
  • The second semifinal has UT Martin vs. the winner of the second quarterfinal game for a chance to play for the championship. They’ve won seven straight games since losing to Little Rock by 20 points on February 6.
  • The championship game will be held on Saturday, March 9. The winner of that game will take the crown as Ohio Valley Conference champion. They’ll also earn a berth in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, which begins with the First Four on March 19.
