Best NCAAF Betting Promos for College Football Playoff Futures

Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe (4) runs for a first down

The four teams participating in the 2023-24 College Football Playoffs have finally been determined. This is the last season that the NCAA will host a four-team playoff, changing to a 12-team tournament format for the 2024 regular season.

The first semifinal game will be on January 1 at the Rose Bowl, as the #4 Alabama Crimson Tide take on the #1 Michigan Wolverines. The Sugar Bowl will follow it later that evening, featuring the #3 Texas Longhorns against the #2 Washington Huskies. The National Championship game will be on January 8 from NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.

The Michigan Wolverines are the current college football picks to win the National Championship. They clinched the Big Ten Conference title with a 26-0 shutout over Iowa in their last game and are seeking their first title since 1997.

College Football Playoff Futures Picks and Predictions

Michigan was undefeated at 13-0 in the regular season, and amid much controversy, they’re probably playing the best they have all year. The Wolverines are the only team in the nation that allowed less than ten points per game on defense in the regular season while scoring 36.7 points per game. They’re the slim favorite against Alabama and currently at +200 in College Football Playoff futures odds to win the National Championship.

The Crimson Tide have played much better on offense than at the start of the regular season. Since their Week 2 loss to the Texas Longhorns, they’ve won 11 straight games to finish the season at 12-1. Alabama is at +220 in the current College Football Playoff futures odds to win this season’s title.

The Texas Longhorns’ biggest win this season was against Alabama. They finished the regular season 12-1 and were impressive in the Big 12 Championship game, defeating the Oklahoma State Cowboys 49-21. They’re favored to win this matchup against the Huskies and are at +250 odds to win the 2023-24 championship.

Washington is the only other undefeated team in this year’s playoffs, finishing the season 13-0 after getting their second win against Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship game as 9.5-point underdogs in their last contest. They currently have +650 odds of winning the National Championship.
