Bet on Caitlin Clark’s first WNBA regular season game

BetMGM Sportsbook, in particular, has a wide assortment of Caitlin Clark prop bets. Her point total is 20.5, and, as with most prop bets, most of the money is on the “over.” In fact, according to a BetMGM chart released earlier on Tuesday, it’s the most-bet player prop today across all sports.

In addition, you can also bet on her three-pointer and assist totals. The three-pointer number is 3.5, at -140, and 59% of betting money is on that side. Gamblers are also aggressively betting that Clark will tally more than 6.5 assists. That “over” prop pays out at -125.

Clark’s team, the Indiana Fever, faces the Connecticut Sun. The Fever are 6.5-point underdogs, and the total is set at 167.5. At BetMGM, there are three times as many bets on this game as there are on any other WNBA game on the slate.

The Fever and Sun are set to tip off at 7:30 pm Eastern time. You can catch all the action on ESPN or Disney+.

An upcoming WNBA betting explosion

The 2024 season is set to be a milestone one for the WNBA. The league is seeing an influx of stars from the college game, including Clark and former LSU standout Angel Reese (who will play for the Chicago Sky).

Clark, Reese, and other former women’s college basketball sensations figure to bring their large followings to a new league. Add in that the NBA and NHL seasons conclude next month, and WNBA betting could be poised to move to the sports betting forefront.
