The excitement is building as the 2024 college basketball tournament continues to advance. Bettors can qualify for the best college basketball tournament betting promos to wager on the matchups at the top online sportsbooks in the US.

The rest of the upcoming schedule features some fierce competition. However, one of the top games this weekend features the NC State Wolfpack and the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

Oakland score an average of 76.5 points per game. That’s four more than NC State, which had to fight to get this far. This could indicate a tough showdown between the two.

North Carolina online sports betting launched just in time for the tournament games. Having NC State, the Tar Heels, and Duke still alive is going to spawn a frenzy of college basketball tournament betting across the state.

How They Got Here

NC State finished ninth in the ACC standings. They ended the season with five straight wins, including two over Duke and North Carolina. That gave them enough to win the conference tournament and earn an automatic bid to the tournament.

The Golden Grizzlies won the Horizon League with a 14-4 conference mark and have won four straight games. Oakland has kept gaining momentum, scoring an upset against Duke Thursday night to advance.

That puts them in a good spot to be a favorite in the college basketball picks. The winner of this game moves on to the semifinals of the South Region.
