A general view of the DraftKings sign board during the match with FC Dallas playing against Sporting Kansas City in the first half at Toyota Stadium

DraftKings has maintained a dominant presence in the American sports betting market for several years. While DraftKings Sportsbook – and the quality experience they provide – isn’t anything new, the welcome bonus they currently have available is.

Right now, new players at DraftKings can sign up using our DraftKings Bonus Code, make their first deposit, and get up to $1,500 in bonus bets if their first bet loses. Players can bet on any available market to redeem the bonus, and no promo code is necessary for players to receive the bonus.

With so many sporting events to bet on, from the ongoing MLB season to the NBA and NHL playoffs, to any other sports from the wide range DraftKings has available, players have an abundance of potential ways to redeem the welcome bonus. We’ll cover the details of how to sign up at DraftKings below, as well as some of the events new players can bet on this Thursday.

NBA Playoff Schedule – Thursday, May 30

The Western Conference Finals advance to Game 5 on Thursday night, after the Minnesota Timberwolves scratched out a 105-100 road win against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. With the series at 1-3, the Wolves will need to win each of their next three games – at home, at Dallas, and at home again – to pull out an upset win for the series.

Despite the hole the Wolves found themselves in heading into Tuesday, it’s been a closely contested series throughout. The Mavericks only won the first two games in Minnesota by a combined four points, and notched their home win in Game 3 by all of nine points.

Betting on the Wolves to be the first team in NBA playoff history to overcome a 0-3 series deficit may be premature, but the odds are available for those who want to take them. Game 5 in Minnesota will tip off at 8:30 PM ET on Thursday night.

NHL Playoff Schedule – Thursday, May 30

Thursday brings us the fifth game of the Eastern Conference Final, with the Florida Panthers traveling to play the New York Rangers at 8:00 PM ET. Between the series being tied at 2-2 and each of the last three games being resolved in overtime, it’s hard to imagine the series being much closer.

Both teams have led the series, with the Panthers winning Game 1 and the Rangers climbing to a 2-1 lead in Game 3. Additionally, both teams have won at home and on the road as part of the series.

Florida notched an overtime win in Game 4 with a power-play goal from Sam Reinhart. We’ll see which player makes the difference for their team in Game 5.

MLB Schedule – Thursday, May 30

The MLB offers a modest slate this Thursday, with a total of 8 games on the schedule. Logan Gilbert and the Seattle Mariners will host Spencer Arrighetti and the Houston Astros for the lone game in the mid-afternoon (4:10 PM ET) time slot. The night ends with Patrick Sandoval and the Los Angeles Angels hosting Carlos Rodón and the New York Yankees.

Here’s the full MLB schedule for the day:

  • Oakland Athletics at Tampa Bay Rays | 1:10 PM ET
  • Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins | 1:10 PM ET
  • Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee Twins | 1:10 PM ET
  • Houston Astros at Seattle Mariners | 4:10 PM ET
  • Detroit Tigers at Boston Red Sox | 7:10 PM ET
  • Arizona Diamondbacks at New York Mets | 7:10 PM ET
  • Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves | 7:20 PM ET
  • New York Yankees at Los Angeles Angels | 9:38 PM ET
