FanDuel NC Announces Partnership With The Carolina Panthers

A week prior to the launch of North Carolina online sports betting, FanDuel NC announced a second major partnership. The operator agreed to terms with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, marking the team’s official entry into the new marketplace.

More on FanDuel NC’s deal with the Panthers

FanDuel NC’s first partnership was formed late last year, when the entity joined forces with the PGA Tour. Such an arrangement is required under North Carolina law in order for any online sports betting operator to do business in the Tar Heel State.

The Carolina Panthers, meanwhile, sat on the sidelines for quite a while as other teams in the state partnered up with operators. Of note, the Carolina Hurricanes agreed to terms with Fanatics NC and the Charlotte Hornets partnered with bet365 NC. Other in-state entities, such as NASCAR, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and several golf courses, have all entered partnerships as well.

With Monday’s announcement, though, the Panthers are officially in the game (and with one of the presumed North Carolina online sports betting market leaders, to boot). Team president Kristi Coleman said the following in a press release:

“We are thrilled to welcome FanDuel as an Official Sports Betting Partner. As we look ahead to the 2024 season, we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership presents to deliver unique and engaging experiences to our fans while they are in North Carolina.”

The operator and team will celebrate the partnership Wednesday with a special edition of “Up & Adams” this Wednesday on FanDuel TV. The show will feature multiple guests with Panthers ties, including former linebacker Luke Kuechly.

Take advantage of NC sports betting promos

New users can download FanDuel NC and make initial deposits now ahead of the first official day of North Carolina online sports betting. That’s coming up on Monday, March 11.

Several apps are also available, and they carry plenty of North Carolina sports betting promos. In the case of FanDuel NC, new customers can earn up to $300 in bonus bets. Signing up activates the first $100, while a $5 bet on launch earns another $200.
