North Carolina Teams to Watch in March

UNC Tar Heels

The North Carolina Tar Heels come into the ACC Tournament with two wins over Duke this season and as the top seed. FanDuel states UNC is a +160 favorite to win the conference tournament. On the season, UNC is 18-13 against the spread overall and 12-8 against the spread in conference games. With a 25-6 straight-up record overall, UNC is a veteran team led by senior guard RJ Davis (21.1 ppg), who is in the program for his fourth season. Fifth-year, 6’11 senior Armando Bacot (13.9 ppg, 10.1 rebs) has also proven he has what it takes in big games.
Regarding totals, North Carolina has a 14-16-1 over/under record but only 6-14 over/under in ACC games.

Duke Blue Devils

Duke is always one of the most popular teams for sports bettors to target. The Blue Devils are the second seed in the conference tournament and have +180 odds to win it. The Blue Devils are 18-12-1 ATS overall and 11-8-1 ATS in ACC play. Duke has been a strong under team with a 13-18 over/under record, including 7-13 over/under in conference play.
The Blue Devils have five double-digit scorers, led by seven-foot sophomore Kyle Filipowski (16.7 ppg, 8.0 rebounds) and senior guard Jeremy Roach (14.3 ppg).NC teams flying over the radar

Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Rated No. 27 by KenPom, Wake Forest is an intriguing conference tournament underdog with +800 odds. Unlikely the Blue Devils or Tar Heels, the Demon Deacons have been a strong play to exceed totals with a 14-6 over/under record in conference play. Wake Forest is third in the conference averaging 78.7 ppg.

NC State Wolfpack

The Wolfpack are likely going to the NIT, unless they make a special run in the ACC Tournament. NC State is rated 76th by KenPom. In conference action, they are 12-8 to the over/under and just 8-11-1 against the spread.

High Point Panthers

They won’t be in the big dance, but you can still use the FanDuel NC Bonus Code for all the March college basketball action. The High Point Panthers were Big South conference regular season champs, but after being upset by Longwood in the conference tournament, they will likely land in either the CBI or the CollegeInsider.com tournament. High Point is 18-11-2 against the spread and has an 18-13 over/under record.
