Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers are winning games recently but only one of their last five games has been on the road. The Cleveland Browns are 4-1 at home and continue to excel, winning four of their last five games after stunning a stellar Ravens squad last week in a 33-31 road win.
Furthermore, the Steelers do not have strong numbers on offense or defense and it’s surprising they are winning games. The passing offense is ranked 29th despite opting for the pass in 57% of their offensive plays. They will have difficulty against a vaunted Browns pass defense that ranks #1. Last week the Steelers’ running game propelled the offense but again, it will be daunting against a Browns rush defense that is 8th. Also, the Steelers rank 26th in passing yards allowed and 25th against the run.
The injury to Deshaun Watson is unfortunate, but I don’t expect a huge difference considering Cleveland runs more than most squads in the NFL. I expect a Browns squad that stands 3rd in the NFL in rushing yards to exploit their poor rush defense. All signs point to a Browns win.
Prediction: Cleveland Browns -1.5
