There will be plenty of betting options for Iowa vs LSU as two of the premier names in the sport, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, go head-to-head.

Here are some things to watch for Monday night, along with some top sports betting promos to claim for the big game.

Iowa vs. LSU Preview

Both teams head into this high-stakes tilt, firing on all cylinders.

LSU survived a scare against a very strong UCLA squad in the round of 16, emerging victorious down the stretch thanks to an elite scoring display for star guard Flau’jae Johnson.

It has been another tumultuous year for coach Kim Mulkey and this Tigers squad, but they have retained a lot of talent from last year’s title team. Hailey Van Lith adds another scoring option for LSU on the perimeter. With a big shooting night from the outside, she could be an x-factor in this rivalry.

Iowa comes into Monday night on the heels of a dominating 21-point win over Colorado.

Much of the focus surrounding Iowa is on Caitlin Clark, who is heavily featured in nearly everything Iowa does offensively. While an elite scorer, Clark is also a fantastic passer. With LSU keying in on Clark, A key to Monday’s showdown will be if Iowa’s other guards, Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall, can knock down shots from the perimeter. They also need a big effort from Hannah Stuelke on the boards.

Iowa vs. LSU Predictions

Look for this to be a much more competitive game than we saw in last year’s Finals. Iowa enters this matchup as a narrow 1.5-point favorite as the region’s #1 seed.

Caitlin Clark may well go down as the best player Women’s College Basketball has ever seen. Clark will get hers, but the supporting cast will struggle with LSU’s size and athleticism, much like we saw last season.

Look for some elite guard play from Johnson and Van Lith to tilt the scales in LSU’s favor down the stretch. Angel Reese will also be a problem on the boards for Iowa all night.

This much-anticipated tilt will be closer but ultimately go the same way as last season, with the LSU Tigers snatching a win and moving on to the final weekend.

Prediction: LSU +1.5
