MLB Betting Promos for Diamondbacks vs Giants

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Tommy Henry throws in the first inning against the Chicago Cubs

An exciting series between NL West contenders gets underway Thursday night. The San Francisco Giants play host to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Fans who decide to make their MLB betting picks on the Giants’ Thursday night game against the Diamondbacks can take advantage of rewarding signup offers.

The Giants won their first season series on the road against the San Diego Padres. However, they haven’t won two consecutive games since then. They’re 3-3 at Oracle Park this season leading up to this ten-game homestand.

The Diamondbacks took three games from the Colorado Rockies in their season-opening series. Things didn’t go well after that, and they lost six of their next seven contests. However, they recovered to win two series against the Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals last week. That put them at 2-4 on the road so far in 2024.

Giants vs. Diamondbacks Preview

The Giants are currently fourth in the NL West standings and are 3-1 in games where they hit two or more homers this season. Michael Conforto leads the team with four home runs and five doubles. Fortunately, Thairo Estrada’s bat has heated up over the previous ten games with three doubles and two home runs during that stretch.

Logan Webb (1-1, 3.80 ERA) will start for San Francisco in this matchup. In four starts, the right-hander has given up five walks and struck out 17 batters in 23.2 innings.

The defending National League Champion Diamondbacks have struggled at the plate over the previous ten games. They’re batting just .226, with pitchers allowing an average of 4.15 runs. Arizona are currently third in the division standings, just a couple of games back of the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers. Lourdes Gurriel leads with four home runs and 18 RBIs, and Christian Walker is the top hitter with a .281 average.

Arizona sends Ryne Nelson (1-2, 5.27 ERA) to the mound for his fourth season appearance. He had a solid outing his last time out against the St. Louis Cardinals, giving up one earned run in 6.0 innings with one walk to get his first win.
