With Dane Dunning toeing the bump for Texas, Marsh over 1.5 total bases at +140 is compelling, given his historic success against Dunning. Marsh owns a whopping .545 career batting average against the righty, including going 6 for his last 9 against him.
Marsh is having a somewhat pedestrian 2024 campaign but has fared much better against righties, hitting all six of his home runs against them and posting a solid .872 ops.
Look for him to run into one against a pitcher he sees the ball very well against.
Justin Steele Under 17.5 Outs Recorded (-114)
Last but not least, we set our sights on Wrigley Field in a compelling clash between two NL contenders in the Braves and Cubs.
Steele’s start to the year has been slow. He suffered an injury in his first start back in March and has toed the rubber just four times so far in 2024, going under 18 outs recorded in all four. Now he faces a daunting Braves lineup that has had career success against him.
A huge portion of Atlanta’s core has torched Steele, with Acuna, Albies, Harris, and Olson hitting a combined 14/28 (.500) lifetime against him. In his three career starts against the Braves Steele owns a lofty 1.62 WHIP with an average of 13.5 outs recorded.
