A total of 24 basketball teams, 12 men’s and 12 women’s, will gather in Paris to compete for the Summer Games first place crown. The teams are grouped into three groups, each consisting of four teams. The group stage consists of three groups of four teams each, who will face each other in a single round-robin format.
