Hit Show drew the 7th position in Tuesday’s draw, a position that has won the Belmont Stakes 14 times in the race’s history. Hit Show is another of trainer Brad Cox’s entrees and will be ridden by one of the top jockeys this year Manny Franco. Hit Show is 10-1 to win the Belmont Stakes and has been in the money in two of his three starts in 2023.
Hit Show ran in the Derby ,finishing fifth, and did not enter the Preakness. In his career, Hit Show has been in the money in four out of his six starts, including three first-place finishes. Trainer Brad Cox will be looking for his third Triple Crown race win and second Belmont Stakes.
Jockey Franco will be making his fourth ride at the Belmont Stakes, winning it one time in 2020. Hit Show showed excellent closing speed at the Derby to finish fifth and if Franco can will another strong close, Hit Show has a chance to get in the money on Saturday.
