Another local derby in Brazil, this time in Sao Paulo between Corinthians and Santos, and just like most other regional derbies in Brazil, we see a lot of cards.
Cards in H2H: 9/11/8/8/9/8/6/7/6/5/10/5/6/6, Over 5.5 Cards in each of L/8 and in 11 of L/13, Over 6.5 Cards in each of L/6 and in 8 of L/14. Massacre.
Corinthians are looking to solidify their spot in the spots that lead to the international competitions next season, Santos are now just 1 point above the relegation zone. Santos have other competitions coming up that will most likely distract them, so they need all the points they can get. They just lost to Palmeiras by 3-0 in the first leg of the Cup quarter-finals and can only progress through a miracle. They will probably drop the Cup and use their best players here, Neymar included, and then wait for the Copa Sudamericana.
Santos' coach fired up the players after that tough loss, and he always does that after hurtful losses, and Santos almost always respond with extreme aggression in their following matches. Now up against Corinthians in a local, and hateful, derby, the chances are there to see another brawl between these two.
Referee is the madman Wilton Sampaio, you might remember him from the World Cup opener where he was dishing out cards like candy. On a good day, Sampaio will stick to the rules and card people left and right.
This is a 3* Play on Over 5.5 Cards (-150 Bovada), line good to -175, reduce to 1* if only available line is 6.5
NOTE: As always, Card Props are found under the Cards/Fouls/Bookings tab in most books. If you can't find it, Card Betting might be illegal in your state.
