The Chiefs offensive line is in shambles right now, Josh Simmons, Trey Smith and tackle Jawaan Taylor are all out, making it even tougher for a team that has had struggles running the ball all season. Kansas City has been putting up some points as of late, but it's been against suspect defenses, and now they have to face the #1 defense in the NFL in the Texans, who only allow 16.5ppg, and 266 yards per game. Houston's offense has also struggled, only putting up 22ppg, and this Chiefs defense is very good, only giving up 19ppg, and 307 yards per game. This will likely be a defensive minded contest, and this total is set low for a reason, and keep in mind these two teams combined O/U records is 7-16-1 to the under.

These AFC West foes just played on November 6 with Denver earning a 10-7 win at home. From a numbers' perspective, we totally understand why this spread is where it is. Our power ratings are directly in line with the opening spread that we're seeing early in the week. We have been critical of Bo Nix and the Broncos' offense all season, so we totally understand why this number is where it is. With all of that being said, how can you back the Raiders right now? Las Vegas has lost six-straight games by an average of 13.8 points per game. During this losing streak, the Raiders have scored an average of 12.7 points per game. When these teams met in Denver, the Raiders generated 3.2 yards per play with ten first downs and Geno Smith was sacked six times. Las Vegas' offensive line has only gotten worse since then as starting center Jackson Powers-Johnson has been placed on IR with an ankle injury. An already-thin receiving corps will likely be missing Dont'e Thornton Jr. after he suffered a concussion last week against the Chargers. Justin Herbert suffered a hand injury last week and his Chargers still beat the Raiders by 17 (probably should have been worse). We've been quick to point out all of Bo Nix's flaws this season, but realistically, the Broncos may only need about 17 points to cover this spread against a Raiders team that is falling apart at the seams. Given the state of the Raiders’ fanbase right now, Broncos’ fans may turn Allegiant Stadium into a Denver home game on Sunday.
