It's been a down year by Vladimir Guerrero Jr's standards, but he's heated up recently while covering this HRR line in 4 of his last 5 games and 6 of his last 9 games. Now Guerrero Jr gets another look at Jacob Lopez who he's gone 1-4 against with a home run and a free pass. Lopez has been reliable of late, but he hasn't been as good at home where he's posted a 5.11 ERA. The Athletics starting pitcher relies heavily on his strikeout pitch and the Blue Jays own the 2nd lowest strikeout rate against lefties during the last 30 days (16.9%). The Athletics bullpen has been horrible in 2026 and they rank 24th in both ERA (4.60) and WHIP (1.40). Vladdy will be guaranteed a full 9 innings of at-bats while playing on the road in an elite environment.

David Montgomery OVER 7.5 Rushing Touchdowns (+116):

The Houston Texans traded an offensive lineman and two draft picks for David Montgomery and followed that up by upgrading his contract. Montgomery has cleared this line in each of his last three seasons (8, 12 & 13) while playing with the Detroit Lions despite splitting carries with the highest paid running back in the league in Jahmyr Gibbs. Joe Mixon is out of the picture, and he handled 89% of the RB carries in 9/14 starts last season including two games with 100% of the workload. Woody Marks is the only man standing in the way and he wasn't overly impressive in his rookie campaign. The Texans are favored to win the AFC South, and they have an elite defense that will lead to favorable game scripts where Monty will see carries while protecting the lead.
