Detain is making just his 3rd start stateside but he has shown an ability to run with this competition with a win last time out going away. This is a step up in class but this is a weak Grade 2 field and Juan Hernandez chooses to stay on for today's ride. Hernandez has ridden in both US efforts and has shown a nice middle move after settling towards the rear after the break. There is plenty of speed signed up for this race and if they try and slow it down on the backside, I can Juan pressing the button early and making the middle move we have seen in both US efforts.
